hey hair...

hm.. hair. something I hadnt thought too much about before, but after looking through the pictures of Eva and Jeremy's wedding I realized I have NO idea what I want to do.

I plan to continue letting it grow, trimming here and there but over all keeping it long.. at least I found a few ideas that work with long hair on http://www.weddingchannel.com/ <- has turned into my #1 resource!!

So this is pretty much what eva had, except hers had her hair swept back behind her and covered by a veil. I dont know how I feel about a veil especially when I think of what a veil traditionally meant..

ok so I stole this from www.seiyaku.com/customs/veil/veil.html incase you want to read the whole article..

"It's commonly believed that it is bad luck for groom to see his bride in her dress before the ceremony, and therefore a veil was used to conceal her. In fact, in the old days of arranged marriages, the groom rarely saw his bride at all before the wedding day. If she was ugly, a veil might have prevented him from running away. But everyone knows there's no such thing as an ugly bride. A bride is always somewhere between 'very pretty' and 'absolutely gorgeous'. Veiling the bride is a symbolic way of tantalizing the groom by concealing her beauty until he becomes her husband and is permitted to see her."

I hope scott knows what hes getting into before he lifts my veil!! lol!

Anyway.... back to hair. :)

I also dont want to go too simple with it.. I like this though.. with the flower. I think depending on the complexity of my dress I might do something simple like this. ->

I dont know though.. again when I look at it on her I like it.. but if the back of my dress is too high it might look too busy.

I loooove this though. I have time to think about it anyway... I shouldnt worry too much.

What IS the right time to start thinking about hair though??

2 years and counting!!
